This is so cool! We would love to see the farm in person, but meantime, the photos are really fun to look at. It's our first time to do a CSA and I feel great about it. I LOVE chard - can't wait to see what it tastes like fresh. I've heard it's much better than weeks-old. And we make this great dish out of kale called colcannon (supposed to be Irish but none of my Irish friends had heard of it) - you saute onions in butter, add chopped kale, saute/cook, and mix into freshly cooked, mashed potatoes; season with salt and pepper. It is so rich it tastes like it's got pork in it but it doesn't!
I so want to be in your CSA!!!!! Heard about you awhile ago and have had your wonderful salad mix at Farmers Merchant and at a friends! Took me awhile to get your name though and now that I have it I am so bummed to find out there are no openings! Please let me know if a spot becomes open! It is so hard to find good produce out here, which makes no sense as its a rural farming area? Love what you are doing, keep up the good work and I hope to hear from you! Thanks, Lee Baker! www.lgenoway@gmail.com
